Students will gain experience with the standards and practices applicable to reclamation on severely disturbed industrial work sites in forested ecosystems. In addition, this course builds on land use and forest policies introduced in the first year with an emphasis on practical application and associated approval processes. Forest range health, invasive species and stakeholder consultation will also be covered.
