This course builds upon the professionalism that is required throughout the forest industry. Some of the areas of emphasis include the development of supervisory skills, the application of codes of conduct and ethics, time and stress management, and cultural sensitivity. The course includes a self-directed study which allows students to identify and work on soft skills that they would like to improve. Oral and written communication is emphasized.
