This course builds upon basic skills and concepts taught in Forest Measurements and Forest Inventory I. Some general areas of focus are species and stand composition, choosing an appropriate AVI (Alberta Vegetation Inventory) attribute code, further development of interpretation principles and skills, and an introduction to enhanced inventory techniques using 3D softcopy technology.
