Geologic Structures and Mapping is a fundamental geology course, introducing students to the identification, classification, and mapping of geologic structures. Students will apply these learnings to construct and/or interpret maps, cross-sections, strip logs, fence diagrams as well as determining strike, dip and the dip angle of subsurface strata.
