Field Placement is an opportunity for students to experience industry training and gain knowledge in a variety of fields relating to geology. Students will be assigned to an industry sponsor for a minimum three-week work term after completing their first year and opportunities for co-op positions will also be available. Full-time summer positions may also be available. Industry placements may include the following sectors: environmental consulting, mining, geological consulting, oil and gas, or regulatory agencies.
