Groundwater Chemistry

Requisites: This course is available to students in the Geological Technology program with a GeoEnvironmental Specialization and have completed Level 1. Prerequisites: GEOL1110, CHEM1102.

This course introduces students to groundwater chemistry and categorization. Topics will include the evaluation and presentation of groundwater chemistry data using diagrams, categorizing groundwater systems, and assessing contaminant conditions. Students will evaluate groundwater chemistry manually and/or using industry specific software.
