This course provides an overview of Human Resources Management (HRM). It focuses on the role of the Human Resources staff specialist, as well as the HRM responsibilities of the line manager. The legal and environmental context of HRM will be examined as well as the functional areas of HRM. The course provides the learner with the opportunity to know and use the technical aspects of HRM as well as research and appraise best practices in these functional areas of HRM.
