The second course in the series of interior design courses focusing the student’s exploration in the interior built environment of commercial design, human collaboration, manipulation of the interior environment, and design intent justification. Through a series of commercial projects, the student will apply the design process, commercial design theory, relevant regional codes, universal design consideration, and the manipulation of interior elements to create design intent explorations through presentation, and defense of the design solutions in interior commercial environments.
