This course is for Network Engineering Technology students. In order to interpret the physical layer characteristics and to understand signaling techniques and their limitations, students need to be able to use mathematical functions, including trigonometric and logarithmic. This course also introduces the student to statistics and statistical methods which are commonly used in technical analysis.
