The practical application of occupational hygiene (OH) is important because it involves hazards identification, airborne monitoring techniques, and respiratory fit testing to keep workers safe. Topics include occupational hazards and their impact on the human body, OH monitoring techniques, occupational exposure limit (OEL) legislation and best practices, controlling health hazards and respiratory fit testing.
