This course develops skills to design, plan and financially evaluate oilfield projects. Projects are screened and evaluated for payout, net present value, return on investment and rate of return. The student will determine how royalties, flaring regulations, reservoir decline, resource pricing and project risk will influence the outcome of a project. Generally accepted "best practices" in project management are applied to develop oilfield projects within project teams.
