Understanding the application of mechanical ventilation is essential to Respiratory Therapy practice. Students will study the usage and application of fundamental and advanced modes of ventilation, both invasively and non-invasively. Students will learn how to assess patient-ventilator interaction and will learn tools to assess and optimize ventilation while promoting patient safety.
