Multi-camera studio production is the foundation of video broadcasts like sports and current-affair-style television programming. These productions require a skilled crew to operate cameras, switchers, audio, and on-air graphics, along with other roles. This hands-on course will familiarize the student with the roles of on-air and crew positions of multi-camera studio production. Skills will be applied to a weekly produced news and entertainment style program. Activities will apply professional-level broadcast standards to the production. Upon successful competition of this course, students will have a practical working knowledge of studio-based production to obtain an entry-level position.
