This second course in Field Methods is intended to reinforce skills introduced in SURV1101, and SURV1111, and to combine the use of various instruments and equipment on survey projects. Topics of study include accuracy of measurements, precise total station leveling, adjustment and maintenance of survey instruments and equipment, calibration of electronic distance measurement equipment, layout of horizontal curves, grading, and slopestakes.
