This third course in surveying field methods will provide the learner with additional practical experience utilizing both conventional surveying equipment, and Real Time Kinematic (RTK) - Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) equipment. Topics of study will include horizontal & vertical survey procedures, legal survey boundary retracement, location & assessment of legal survey evidence, total station leveling, wellsite surveys, real property report surveys, and subdivision surveys. Students will gain experience using total station survey equipment, data collectors, and RTK equipment. Students will also gain experience with field data management, and the transfer of data from field equipment to office-related computer software applications.
