With instructor support as you need it, you may take from six months up to one year to complete the material depending on the class level.
Students also have the option to attend Power Engineering Technology Evening/Weekend courses to prepare for the provincial certification exams for Fifth Class to Third Class. Students are advised to register as soon as possible.
There are no firm entry requirements, however it is strongly recommended to have a minimum of 50% in Grade 10 English, Math and Science for Fifth Class, Fourth Class, and Third Class courses. Related work experience may be considered in place of some academic subjects.
