Competition Details

  • Organize a team of four (4) Grade 10-12 students and register by October 7. We'll share the details of the challenge via email on October 9. Your team will have a week to create and submit your pitch video.
  • Solve the business challenge using creative thinking and original ideas. No business knowledge is required, just creative thinking!
  • Submit your video by October 16 for evaluation by our panel of judges.
  • Attend the in-person awards ceremony on October 22 to see if you've won.

Prizes

1st Place:

$2,500 Entrance Scholarship + $750 cash for each team member

2nd Place:

$1,000 Entrance Scholarship + $500 cash for each team member

3rd Place: 

$1,000 Entrance Scholarship + $250 cash for each team member

Carmen Leibel, Project Five

Carmen Leibel spent more than 16 years in broadcast journalism as an anchor, producer and reporter for CTV and is now the Founder and CEO of Project Five, Communicate with Confidence. Using the public speaking tips and tricks she learned throughout her journalism career, Carmen created Project Five with five simple steps to help people of all ages feel more comfortable and confident speaking in front of others. Carmen strongly believes that helping people learn these crucial communication skills will benefit them in both their personal and professional lives.
