First year students: You will receive an acceptance letter from the Registrar’s Office. Pay the non-refundable $250 tuition deposit to hold your space. The deposit confirms you intend to study at NAIT. Pay at the Cash Office, or online if you have a student portal account (see step 2) |

Log onto the student portal – there is lots of important information for new students. If you don’t have a user name and password, you will be able to create one. |

Review NAIT’s Health and Dental Insurance: The Medical and Dental fees are mandatory unless you have extended coverage through an employer or parent. Alberta Health Care is not sufficient coverage. |
If you are choosing to opt out of the plan you must bring your Health and Dental Waiver form to the Benefit Office (Room E125) by the deadline date. |

Pay tuition fees. You can pay at the Cash Office or through the student portal. Note: Alberta students who are approved for student loans before the tuition deadline will have their tuition and fees deducted from their loans automatically. There is no need to make a payment as long as the amount of your loan is equal to or greater than your tuition fees. More information about student loans. |
