The Edmonton Short Film Festival was co-founded by Sharlene Millang (Secretarial & Office Administration '81) to offer screening and educational opportunities to emerging and mid-career independent Alberta filmmakers. They’ve grown from their annual gala weekend in October to offering two free/low-cost workshops in May and September, and multiple community screenings year-round.
