Host a campus event

Host a campus event to meet students, interview student candidates, or host an information session.

Information Sessions

What makes your company unique? Do you have exciting career opportunities for students and recent graduates?

Host an information session for students in programs that specifically apply to your organization and career opportunities.

These structured sessions (presentation, question period, refreshments) are a great way for a large number of students to learn about who you and what you do before they participate in the application and interview process.

Most information sessions are held during the lunch hour (11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.) or at the end of the work day (4:30 p.m. – 6 p.m.) to ensure the best turnout of students. However, some programs may accommodate employers during the day.

Employer Service takes care of all the arrangements for you. We will promote your event through our student portal, Student Employment webpage and our NAIT calendar.

Our team will facilitate your audio-visual requirements (e.g. computers, projectors, wireless connections) and parking at no cost. The only cost you will need to cover is an optional catering service, which we can also coordinate for you.

Recruitment Booths

Recruitment booths are a free and convenient way to meet prospective employees.

Employers are invited to set up a recruitment booth in high-traffic locations to interact face-to-face with students. Our staff coordinate the location, parking information (rates and maps) and table set up. Recruitment booths run from 10 am - 2 pm and can be located near the department or program areas targeted for recruitment.

Are you a NAIT donor? Recruitment booths are often scheduled in conjunction with an Information Session - Meet & Greet to maximize the employer's on-campus exposure and this feature is reserved only for NAIT donors.

Interview Rooms

Employers can interview current students at a convenient on-campus location.

By meeting students and upcoming graduates right on campus, interviewing is made easy for both the employer and future employees.

Booking an interview room is free of charge and our Employer Services team will coordinate room bookings and free parking, as well as provide valuable information about exam and holiday schedules that can impact the recruitment process.

NAIT books space on a first-come, first-served basis and it is strongly recommended that employers book early to avoid conflicts.

Important dates to remember when booking with NAIT

  • Fall Term begins: September 3, 2019
  • Winter break: December 21, 2019 - January 2, 2020
  • Winter term begins: January 6, 2020
  • Reading Week: February 17 - 21, 2020
  • Term ends: April 25, 2020

Campus events can be booked between late September and the first week in April. Confirming campus events will begin mid-August for 2019/20. View NAIT's calendar of events.
