Architectural design competition
Cross-functional student teams from Architectural Technology, Alternative Energy Technology, Interior Design Technology, Landscape Architectural Technology and information technology programs, collaborate to develop smart building designs, ideas and concepts. Student teams compete for several individual and team awards thanks to the generosity of Cisco Systems Canada. The first-place team for overall best design will share their award-winning concept at the MOTIVATE@NAIT – Building Smart for the Future event.
Team 1: Affinity Collective
A merging of technology, sustainability, and natural materials, comes together to create a welcoming, inclusive haven, aided through the use of a people-centric web app.
Team 2: Techtonic Works
This dynamic design features a modern aesthetic, coupled with intelligent and innovative tech and energy solutions to reflect the changing needs of buildings today.
