Sylvia Cheverie
Chartier is owned by Darren and Sylvia Cheverie (Business Administration-Marketing '09), and Tamara Solon. As part of Chartier's rustic French-Canadian offerings, dinner features the likes of a “Housemade Habitant Soup,” authentic poutine, beef borguignon and more. For lunch, try the Montreal smoked meat sandwich or, for brunch, smoked brisket eggs benedict. All of this is brought to you, in part, by Kickstarter. To date, Chartier is the crowdfunding platform's most successful Canadian restaurant project.
