International students get skating tips from NAIT Ooks women's hockey team

Beginner students learn from NAIT experts at the first Skate with NAIT event

EDMONTON – Beginner skaters – including international students who have never been on the ice before – will learn from NAIT experts Friday at the first Skate with NAIT event.

Members of the Ooks women’s hockey team will be on hand to offer tips, encouragement and hot chocolate to novice skaters. The event, organized by NAIT International, Chaplaincy Services and Campus Recreation, is open to all NAIT students and staff.
