Diagnostic Medical Sonography

Prepares students to conduct ultrasound examinations, focusing on obstetrics and gynecology, abdomen and superficial structures, cardiac sonography and vascular sonographic studies.

Respiratory Therapy

Respiratory Therapists are dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and education of patients with heart and lung disorders.

Animal Health Technology

Provides nursing care, diagnostic procedures and client interactions to assist veterinarians in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease in animals.

Get credit for prior experiences

Not everyone studying at NAIT has just graduated from high school. Knowledge and skills are gained in different ways, including through life and work experiences. 

It's possible that your past experiences could grant you credit or recognition for prior learning, whether achieved through formal or informal training or experience.

Simulation Centre

Centre for Advanced Medical Simulation 

The Simulation Centre at NAIT is a state-of-the-art interactive and interdisciplinary centre that gives students in the School of Health and Life Sciences the opportunity to practice clinical situations in a safe and controlled environment. Located in the Centre for Applied Technology (CAT), the Simulation Centre offers over 6,000 square feet of learning space with true-to-life work experiences for students and partners.
