EDMONTON – Close to 700 students and faculty from 24 different health care fields will work together to save Stan – and other simulated patients – at an all-day, inter-professional simulation event.
The Help! Save Stan event – which takes place simultaneously at NAIT and the University of Alberta – will include manikins, simulated patients and volunteers from emergency services agencies to create realistic health care scenarios. Student teams will collaborate to treat patients with a focus on communication and teamwork.
