Course Overview
Enhance your AutoCAD skills by learning how to manage spatial data through an engaging introduction to the Autodesk Geographic Information System (GIS). With the skills gained in this course, you will be able to use a variety of file formats in AutoCAD Map 3D and use AutoCAD Map 3D to create, attach, edit, and display data.
As a graduate of this course you will be able to create queries and buffer, and identify where Map 3D fits in the CADD-GIS integration process. You will also be able to set up .dwg data files, perform tasks with feature data objects, and employ Raster Images using AutoCAD Map 3D.
Prior to enrolling in this course, it is recommended that you complete CCTG101 GIS Concepts, and CCTA105 AutoCAD Fundamentals, or have working knowledge of AutoCAD.
