Course Overview

Learn the basic concepts you need to truly understand IP routing. Gain a general understanding of what a router is and the ways to configure it. This two-day course covers:

  • initial router setup
  • performing password recovery procedures for the router
  • identifying the Cisco Discovery Protocol (CDP)
  • defining wide area network (WAN) technologies.
  • implementing the high-level data link control (HDLC) and the Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP)
  • implementing static routing
  • implementing the Access Control List (ACL)
