Course Overview
The Alberta Paramedicine Driver Operator Course (APDOC) is imperative to those who will be operating ambulances. In partnership with AMA Fleet Safety, we are please to be able to offer this exclusive training. You will demonstrate your knowledge of acts and regulations pertaining to ambulances in Alberta. You will be able to conduct vehicle inspections, and demonstrate knowledge of TDG.
With the skills gained in this course, you will be able to actively avoid collisions, perform ambulance-specific driving maneuvers and demonstrate how to share the road proactively and defensively.
The eligibility to enroll in this course is the ability to produce, to the instructor at minimum, a valid class 5 Alberta driver's license. GDL is also acceptable.
Please Note: AMA Fleet Safety has a minimum number of participants required to run each course. There is a potential for courses to be moved, cancelled, or combined.
