Course Overview

As a foundation drill rig operator it is essential that you recognize the principles of drill rig operations to ensure a safe and efficient drilling practice. Upon successful completion of this course you will be able to describe the importance of sound and systematic operating procedures of drilled shaft equipment operation.

Graduates of this course will be able to describe the operations of rotary and kelly bar drilling, and be able to outline drilled shaft technology and various types of related equipment. Graduates of this course will also be able to identify equipment applicable to foundation drilling operation.
