Course Overview
Describe the components, features, operation, and processes used for digital fluoroscopy, digital subtraction angiography (DSA), computerized tomography (CT), pantomography, mammography, and bone mineral density (BMD). Explain how images are acquired and displayed, as well as factors affecting image quality.
This course builds on the concepts covered in Radiation Science and Apparatus I and is for those who want to increase their professional development and are currently working as a Medical Radiological Technologist. The skills obtained will enable you to describe the concepts of operating imaging equipment identified by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiological Technologists (CAMRT).
