Course Overview
Develop and practice math concepts and techniques that are tested by accepted training organizations and are required by Natural Resources Canada (NRCan). Prepare for training in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods by completing this math course. Explore and utilize general math, math symbols, math constants, exponents, logarithms, equation manipulation, algebra, and trigonometry as they relate to NDT. This course provides all levels of NDT personnel an opportunity to refresh their math skills and includes a Non Destructive Testing Certification Body (NDTCB) approved Math-skills Exam. With the knowledge gained in this course, you will be ready to challenge the math exam required by Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) for further NDT and Certified Exposure Device Operator training. NOTE: Effective October 2, 2017, the math skills prerequisite for NDT training is required for all NDT methods. For latest updates please refer to the NRCan Website.
