Course Overview

Get to know the real meaning of Project Quality Management! Upon successful completion of this course you will be able to plan, assure and control the quality of projects by developing a project quality management plan.

At the end of this course you will be able to describe and apply quality concepts, quality planning, quality assurance, quality control and continuous improvement. You will be able to describe the critical processes needed to ensure all project objectives are met.

You will also be able to describe different quality control tools and how to apply these tools to solve problems, how to focus on creating a quality environment as well as the relationships between different quality management systems.

When you successfully complete the learning outcome assessment within this course, you will earn a NAIT micro-credential and receive a digital badge to share on social media and with your network.

  • Remote Live Delivery: Where: Online with instructor. When: Course is scheduled at a specific time for students to attend. Instruction is delivered at set times online. Students do not come to campus.
  • Remote On-Demand Delivery: Where: Online anytime. When: No set class meetings. Coursework is accessed on-demand and online. While there are no set class meetings, there may be set due dates and deadlines for some activities. Students may interact with peers through virtual tools.
  • Remote Independent: Where: Online anytime. When: No set class meetings. Coursework is accessed on-demand and online, with no instructor support. While students choose when to do coursework, there may be set due dates and deadlines. 
  • Work Placement: Where: In-person meetings. When: Work is scheduled at a specific time for students to attend. Onsite work integrated learning. Location at a worksite.
