Course Overview

Delve into the topics and techniques of soil mechanics and geotechnical applications in road building. Explore soil technology, the importance of compaction, soil classification, along with field and laboratory soil testing.

With the skill that you gain in this course, you will be able to identify best practices in site grading and subgrade preparation, and the most common types of geo-materials used in road building.
