Course Overview

Explore the processing, properties, and testing of aggregates used in pavement construction. Knowledge of aggregate production methods and crusher processes are crucial for ensuring high-quality materials. Assess bulk density, moisture content, relative density, absorption, and soundness of aggregates. Calculate and interpret results from sieve analysis and Los Angeles abrasion testing to determine compliance with specifications.

With the knowledge gained in this course, you will be able to identify aggregate types and evaluate their properties, ensuring quality in pavement construction.
