Course Overview
Gain the valuable skill of forklift operation through this introductory course. Increase your personal safety by exploring the potential dangers of forklift operation and by reviewing the responsibilities of forklift operators. Delve into theory, including basic physics, and obtain hands-on experience. Ensure you are up-to-date with the training requirements outlined in Alberta’s Best Practices Guideline for Forklift Health and Safety. After successfully completing the course, you will receive a wallet card certificate indicating number of training hours and type of forklift used.
With the skills gained in this course, you will have the foundation to progress towards your certification with TRSP152 - Forklift Certification.
Students who have not received a Forklift Certification within the last 3 years are required to complete TRSP151 before registering for TRSP152.
Students are required to submit a copy of a valid driver’s license by email to ced_trades@nait.ca.
