Course Overview

Water and wastewater operators must know the fundamentals of hydraulics, fluid mechanics, and blueprint reading: essential operational development and problems-solving skills for water and wastewater technicians.

The skills gained in this course will allow you to describe the properties of fluids, pressures, forces, and water flow through different environments. Describe losses through piping system, explain pumps, and recognize engineering drawings principles. Numerous opportunities exist in the course for you to practice through interactive activities and formative assessments.
