Course Overview

Water distribution uses a network to circulate water from a central location to a location of end use. Water and wastewater operators must recognize the practical aspects of construction, operation, and maintenance of water distribution systems. Discover the sources of ground water; explain the operation and maintenance of wells; describe the setting of water rates; and outline the selection, installation, testing and calibration of water meters. With the skills gained in this course, you will be able to test water meter accuracy and be able to implement preventative and corrective maintenance for water meters.
