Course Overview
Water distribution uses a network to circulate water from a central location to a location of end use. Water and wastewater operators must recognize the practical aspects of construction, operation, and maintenance of water distribution systems.
Graduates of this course will have the skills needed to describe the sources of ground water; explain the operation and maintenance of wells; describe the setting of water rates; and outline the selection, installation, testing and calibration of water meters. Upon successful completion of this course you will also have the skills to test water meter accuracy and be able to implement preventative and corrective maintenance for water meters.
