Bill is a proud NAIT Alumni from the Materials Engineering Technology program, and began his career working as a researcher and process technologist in the advanced materials field. With the encouragement of his manager and mentor he returned to NAIT to get his Project Leadership and Project Management Certificates and also acquired his Project Management Professional certification.
Since that time Bill has working on a large variety of projects in industrial and commercial construction, design and engineering, pipeline corrosion protection and in the Life Safety and Security Integration industries. He currently manages projects for a larger Security Integrator. Bill is a certified Scrum Master, holds the Certified Cost Professional certification and is certified in COBIT Foundation. Bill is proud to consider himself a life long learner with a strong background in leadership training, quality management and continuous improvement, and is currently working toward his Program Management Professional certification and Master Instructor certification.
Bill has been very active in the project management community for the past 12 years, including serving a term as President of the local PMI Northern Alberta Chapter. In this capacity Bill maintained a very close relationship to the NAIT team, and was extremely pleased and honoured to have the opportunity to join them as an Instructor in 2018. He is thoroughly enjoying the experience of working with our clients to facilitate project management training.
