Carolyn Lesyshen

Carolyn Lesyshen is currently employed by Servus Credit Union Ltd as their Payroll Supervisor since July 2006. She has been a volunteer with the Canadian Payroll Association since September 2008 and is currently on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Payroll Association since June 2014. With her involvement with the CPA she has been able to serve on the Edmonton Branch as Vice Chair, Chair, and on 2 CPA National Payroll conferences held in Edmonton along with assisting with the Bylaws Committee for the CPA.

In 2017 she was awarded the Instructor of the Year Award by “The Canadian Payroll Association” - it was her students that had recommended her for this award.

Carolyn is a former student of NAIT and was able to obtain her Certified Payroll Manager designation, Human Resource Management certificate, General Management certificate, and Becoming a Master Instructor Level 1.

Since September 2009 Carolyn has been instructing evening payroll classes at NAIT. She is currently instructing the Introduction Payroll Management and Applied Payroll Management classes.

She has been mentoring and coaching past and present students along with fellow CPA members since 2009. You will find Carolyn at various Network & Share sessions hosted by the CPA in Edmonton or at various Certification or National Payroll events in Canada - so be sure to stop and say “Hi” when you see her.
