Learn to cook like a culinary master

Registration and schedule details for July 2020 bootcamps will be available on February 6, 2020.

Our Culinary Boot Camps offer the chance to learn from celebrated NAIT chefs during an intensive, fun-filled culinary adventure. Our chefs have extensive industry experience and excel in sharing that knowledge in a supportive learning environment.

Don't worry: there won’t be any kitchen nightmares here!

Spend up to five days in NAIT's state-of-the-art kitchens. Several camps, on various topics, will guide you to new skill levels. Explore theory, see demonstrations and, most importantly, create spectacular dishes. Begin with the essentials before working your way up to advanced methods; develop your cooking skills based on proven techniques. You will be hands-on in the kitchen, so get ready to impress with your new or improved techniques!

Hands-on fun!

During the week, your meals and beverages will be provided, including the food you prepare yourself. There will also be opportunities to take food home with you almost every day. You will be well fed!

Multiple camps are happening throughout our kitchens each week. Meals will consist of contributions from each of the camps, thereby enhancing your experience.

At the conclusion of the week, your skills will be tested during a practical exam, and your chef instructor will have the opportunity to see your skills in action. You will then receive feedback so that you can continue to improve at home.

Keep in mind...

The course package will include:
