Academic Upgrading

Thinking about going back to school or starting a new career path? NAIT’s Academic Upgrading program is designed to help adults from various academic backgrounds get the courses you need to gain prerequisites and entrance requirements needed for post-secondary career study. Once accepted into the program, you'll have the flexibility to choose specific courses to help you meet your educational goals.

Once you complete your upgrading courses, you may be conditionally accepted into a NAIT career program, as long as you meet all the other entrance requirements. You can also use your upgrading courses to apply to other post-secondary schools in Alberta.
