Course Overview

The Internet of Things is the network of everyday objects, from industrial machines to wearable devices, that uses built-in sensors to gather data. Upon successful completion of this course you will be able to apply analytics to examine and analyze data obtained by the Internet of Things to improve business operations. This process is known as the Internet of Things Analytics (IoTA).

The Internet of Things interconnects devices via the Internet devices embedded in everyday objects, enabling them to send and receive data. Graduates of this course will be able to apply real-time analytics, Big Data analytics, and enterprise architecture practices to the Internet of Things projects. You will be able to describe the role analytics plays within the connectivity of objects and data transfers and apply IoT to reduce maintenance costs, avoid equipment failures, and improve your company’s financial success.
