Course Overview

Use colour to breathe new life into your digital art! With the skills you gain in this course, you will be able to use a graphic tablet to fully render, in colour, complete digital illustrations.

Graduates of this course will be able to apply digital flatting and rendering, colour selection and colour holds, page setup, and lighting. Learn how to avoid muddy colours, and how to prep a file for print. You will also be able to apply different colour palettes to influence mood, depth, and perception and be able to use layer effects to add greater depth and polish to your pieces.

Please ensure you have completed both CCTD125 - Character Design and Digital Inking and CCTD126 - Environmental Design before attending this course as you will be continuing work on the projects from those courses.

Paper, pencils, eraser
