Course Overview
Leading a complex organization, especially during times of crisis or extraordinary events, can be a daunting task. Not only that, but the myriad of materials that cover this subject can make it seem overwhelming to a beginner. As part of the Leadership Block of the Crisis Management Essentials Certificate, this course will help you develop an awareness of the aspects of leadership that should be considered before, during, and after a crisis in a complex organization.
This course will cover two key areas. The first will be an examination of some of the attributes that make an organization complex, what underpins complicated problems, and how complexity manifests itself in an organization. Building on that understanding, the second outcome will focus on navigating complexity.
