Course Overview
A home inspector will assess, in a residential dwelling, the interior water supply and distribution systems (including fixtures and faucets), as well as water heating equipment and drain/vent/waste systems and their related fixtures. Upon successful completion of this course you will be able to identify and assess plumbing components as part of a home inspection.
At the end of this course you will be able to identify and assess supply piping, water heaters, waste piping, and plumbing fixtures. You will also be able to describe the physics of water, how plumbing systems work, and common failure modes.
