Course Overview

Boost your marketability and become certified for asbestos removal and abatement work. Asbestos is found in drywall, insulation, and flooring in construction predating 1995. Insulators specialize in the installation and maintenance of insulation systems for the conservation of energy and control of the environment in a defined space. Explore correct procedures, tools, equipment, safety, and protection. Discover worksite planning, preparation, abatement options, and health effects and regulations.

Once you successfully complete this course, you will receive a certificate recognized by the provincial government’s Workplace Health and Safety division.
