Expand your expertise in programmable logic controllers with a focus on Open Platform Communications (OPC). OPC technology is vital for seamless data exchange between industrial systems, helping you maintain efficiency and productivity in modern control environments. Develop proficiency with Rockwell Automation (RSLinx) software and set up communication with Allen Bradley PLCs. Gain skills to access, manage, and transfer data between Microsoft Excel and process control hardware with OPC. Discover how to use Component Object Model (COM) and Distributed COM (DCOM) for enhanced communication.
