Course Overview

Upgrade and refresh your skills and competencies in the Fourth Class Power Engineering designation. Delve into heating, warm air, lighting and water systems. Explore materials, welding, air conditioning, refrigeration and psychrometrics. Maximize your safety and the safety of your coworkers by examining new safety, environmental and WHMIS standards.

With the skills that you gain in this course, you will be prepared for the Provincial Upgrade Examination.

Recommended: 50% or better in Grade 10 English, Math and Science. Related work experience may be considered in place of some academic subjects.
