Course Overview

Upgrade your Building Operator B Certificate to a Fifth Class Power engineering certificate. Prepare yourself for the provincial upgrade exam by studying basic mathematics, mechanics, thermodynamics, new WHMIS standards, refrigeration, air compressors, materials, welding and high-pressure heating boilers. Explore thermodynamic systems, refrigeration, plumbing and more.

With the skills that you gain in this course, you will be prepared for the Fifth Class Power Engineering Provincial Exam.

Recommended: 50% or better in Grade 10 English, Math and Science. Related work experience may be considered in place of some academic subjects.
