Get to know campus

Fall term orientation dates have now  passed. Winter 2020 New Student Orientation will be January 3, 2020 (for all new students starting at NAIT in the Winter semester). Please check back mid to late November for furthur details. If you have questions or want more information about campus, please contact student engagement

Whether you're a highschool, mature or university transfer student, attending these orientation events will get you familiar with NAIT and what you can expect from your polytechnic education. Meet your peers and fellow students, and get a feel for what life is like at NAIT and learn about all the supports and services you can access.

What to expect at orientation:

As NAIT students, you are expected to attend both general and program orientations.  By attending these 2 events, which will share different information, you will get a holistic perspective of the NAIT experience and be better prepared to start your classes.


Part 1 - Welcome to NAIT

New Student Orientation

  • Join us for the morning session that includes important, general NAIT information for all students. Topics are geared toward first-year students in credit programs.

OR

International Student Orientation

  • This morning session covers the same information as the New Student Orientation, but also covers additional, relevant topics like  immigration and visas.

Part 2 - Introduction to your program

Program Orientation

  • Meet your future classmates and learn more about your program. Please refer to the program orientation listing for your date and time. Dates vary by program; please check back here for a complete listing of program orientations, as they become available.

 Apprenticeship Orientation

  • Orientation typically occurs on your first day of class. For more information, please refer to the Apprenticeship FAQ.

one AT NAIT card

Your one AT NAIT card serves as your official NAIT identification card, and it also allows you to add funds to use at eat AT NAIT and shop AT NAIT.
